Feed That (Coffee) Addiction
Something that people seem to be missing is their daily coffee since a lot of us no longer have to drive to the office. Figuring out where to get your coffee from is a legitimate issue for some people and I am here to tell you how you can get your fix from a local establishment instead of a national chain.
A local favorite, La Java, is still open and offering coffee to their faithful customer base. In order to combat the health crisis, they are only using disposable cups and will not be accepting personal or reusable cups until the crisis is over. They are offering drinks, as well as bagged coffee and standard bakery items, through their drive-thru. They have also been able to deliver orders to customers thanks to their partnerships with DoorDash, Food Dudes, Grubhub and UberEats.
To continue impacting the community in a positive way, they are donating $2 from each bag of ‘Community Blend’ coffee sold to local food pantries. They are also offering free shipping with online orders of $50 or more.
Before the challenging times that we are all facing right now, they had been very involved in the community in different fundraisers. Some organizations that they have helped include Young Life Green Bay, Green Bay Salvation Army, and Faith Chapel Christian & Missionary Alliance. I have seen their loving and giving hearts first-hand as someone who witnessed a team member from La Java last year help pull an RV at a cancer benefit!
If you are unaware of where they are located or how you can order, here is that information:
1250 Velp Avenue, Green Bay, WI 54303 – 920-785-9180 (Drive-Thru & Call-In Orders)
430 Cardinal Lane, Green Bay, WI 54313 – 920-662-0500 (Drive-Thru & Call-In Orders)
2422 W Mason Street, Green Bay, WI 54303 (Drive-Thru Only)
If you want to impact our community while still getting your daily dose of coffee, order a bag of ‘Community Blend’ coffee from La Java! You will be helping a local business while also keeping families within our community from going hungry.
